Mr. Mukul Dimri - Head of Department

Qualification: Three year Diploma in Hotel Management from IHM Mumbai; B.A. (Meerut University); MBA (IGNOU).

Experience: Recognized Trainee for D.O.T. under Ministry of Personnel, Govt. of India; Worked as Chef Trainee (Hotel Le Meridean); Done Chef De Partee (Hotel Maurya Sheraton), Lecturer Food Production (Svi Nivas College of Hotel Management, Mangalore); Lecturer-IHM Shimla for 13 years: Sr. Lecturer in IHM Dehradun since its inception in 2006;

Teaching Career has been very satisfying and have continuously upgraded the skills and knowledge by attending about 20 courses and training programmes organized at National level by NCHMCT, Delhi at different places during lecturership in IHM Shimla.

Area of Interest: Kitchen Planning & Designing for various reputed hotels and organization (Hotel Shell, Naldera, Shimla, Hotel Best Western Inn, Kandaghat, Shimla, Hotel Grand, Shimla.

Mr. Pulkit Bhambi - Head of Department

Qualification: Graduation (History Major); Diploma in Hotel Management, IHM Ahmedabad 1990; MBA in Tourism.

Experience: 06 years hotel experience in Kitchen Department- Le Meridien, Welcomgroup, Park Royal; Teaching Experience since 1996: 8 ½ years as Lecturer in IHM Jaipur till 2005; 1 ½ years as Senior Lecturer in IHM Gurdaspur till July 2006.

Senior Lecturer in IHM Dehradun since August 2006; Completed DTS and DOT training programme; Attended training workshops like continental cuisine workshop, Jaipur; Sea food workshop, Goa; Regional cuisine workshops Bhopal, Chennai.

Awards: Best Faculty for sessions 2008-09 and 2009-10 awarded by Ministry of Tourism Govt. of India ( Ranked 3rd and 6th).

Mr. Manish Semwal Sr. Lecturer-cum-Sr. Instructor

Qualification: 3 year Diploma in Hotel Management from Govt. Institute of Hotel Management Dehradun in year 1998.

Experience: Had an overall industry experience of around 8 years; was an F&B Executive Trainee with Habitat World at India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi; Had worked with the Uppal’s Orchid an ecotel Hotel in pre-opening team; Had worked with Hotel Inter Continental The Grand, New Delhi in F&B Department; Joined IHM Dehradun since its inception of the first Academic Session 2006

Awards: Best Faculty for sessions 2008-09 awarded by Ministry of Tourism Govt. of India ( Ranked 9th).f G

 Shri Uday Pratap Singh Chamyal - Lecturer-cum-Instructor

Qualification: B.Sc.; 3 year diploma in Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition; Master of Business Management (MBA); Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management; Diploma in Management (DIM); Certificate course in Microsoft Office (MS Office); Direct Trainer Skills (DTS) Course; Design of Training (DOT) Course.

Experience: Worked in Hotel Hyatt Regency, New Delhi for 4 ½ years; Worked in the Institute of Hotel Management, Vidyanagar, Hyderabad for 6 ½ years; Worked in the Institute of Hotel Management, Taramani, Chennai for 2 ½ years; Presently working as Lecturer at the IHM Dehradun since 21st April 2009.

Mr. Manish Bharti -Sr. Lecturer-cum-Instructor

Qualification: 3 year Diploma in Hotel Management from Institute of Hotel Management Gwalior in year 1998.

Experience: Worked with Jaypee Palace Hotel, Agra as a Mutiskilled Hospitality Assistant; Amazon Institute of Hotel, Tourism and Management, Dehradun as a Food and Beverage Production Lecturer; Institute of Business and Hotel Management, Dehradun as Head of the Department for Food and Beverage Production Department. Joined IHM Dehradun on 30.11.2009 as Lecturer-cum-Instructor.

Qualification: B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration (H&HA) from IHM
Kolkata, 2002

Experience: Three years experience in Star Category Hotels-The Golden Park, The Ffort Radission, Hotel Hindustan International in Accommodation Operation; One year teaching experience in IHM Hajipur; Associated with IHM Dehradun since its inception of first Academic Session in 2006.

Area of Interest: Accommodation Operation.

 
Mr. Gaurav Trikha - Lecturer-cum-Instructor

Qualification: B.Sc. in Hotel Management from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, 2003; Did Industrial Training with ITC-Mughal Sheraton, Agra; Also done Industrial Training with Oberoi’s Cecil, Shimla.

Experience: Worked as pre-opening team member with “Radisson MBD Noida” ,Also worked at Executive Level with The Imperial Hotel” Janpath, New Delhi; Had an overall experience of Hotel Industry of 3 years: Have been associated with IHM Dehradun since its inception of first Academic Session in 2006.

Mr. Vivek Kumar - Lecturer-cum-Instructor

Qualification: MBA (Tourism) from Alagappa University, Chennai; M.Com from HNB Garhwal University in 2004; B.Com from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut in 2002; Three years Diploma in Hotel Management from Govt. Institute of Hotel Management, Dehradun in the year (1997-2000)

Experience: 3 ½ years Industry Experience and 5 ½ years teaching experience; joined IHM Dehradun on 30.11.2007.

Area of Interest: Bakery and Confectionery.

 
Mr. Gyanendra Kumar - Assistant Lecturer-cum-Assistant Instructor

Qualification: Three year Diploma in Hotel Management from Govt. Institute of Hotel Management Dehradun during 1998-2001 and secured 71% marks. Six months diploma in computer applications. Master in Tourism Management from IGNOU.

Experience: Worked with Jaypee Palace Hotel Agra during 2001-2002; worked with Hotel Imperial, Ludhiana during 2003-2006; Teaching Experience: worked with Culinary College of Hotel Management Dehradun and presently working with Institute of Hotel Management Dehradun since June 2008

Experience: Worked with Taj Agra as a Front Office Executive. Lobby Manager, Marinha Dourada Goa. GRE Holiday Inn Nainital. worked as Senior CCE with Convergys, Gurgaon. Associated with IHM Dehradun since 2008 as Assistant Lecturer-cum-Instructor.

Experience: Worked with Radisson Jalandhar as a Front Office Executive. Asst. Operation Manager, The Residence Group of Hotel. Represented Uttarakhand Tourism from Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam Ltd. as D.G.M. in the first ever South Asian Games held in Auli in 2011. Associated with IHM Dehradun as Assistant Lecturer-cum-Instructor.

Ms. Meenakshi Bisht - Assistant Lecturer-cum-Assistant Instructor

Qualification: B.Sc in Informaiton Technology from DSB campus, Kumoun University, Nainital.Diploma in Aviation and Hospitality management from Air Hostess Academy(AHA), Dehradun. Diploma in Photo Shop and Coral Draw, MBA(IT) from Sikkim Manipal University Dehradun.

Experience: 3 year experience as an Astt- Lecturer in RAM institute,Blue mountains and IIAS, Dehradun. Associated with IHM Dehradun as Assistant Lecturer-cum-Instructor of computer applications.

Yogi Simant - Yoga Guru

Qualification: Yogi Simant, a staunch devotee and follower of Yoga was born in the state of Uttrakhand, which is also known as Dev Bhoomi (land of God). Yogi ji holds a Bachelor degree in Humanities.

Experience: Yogi Simant has dedicated himself to the study and research of Yoga and he aims to develop scientific and modern forms of Yoga. He has developed some new kriyas such as MANTHAN and AVTARAN which not only improve the functioning of human body but also brings an upsurge in the energy level of the person which not only increase the confidence of a person but also makes his approach towards life positive.
